This is the current version of the 6.5L engine for Humvee HMMWV still produced new today. Available through our Rapid Fulfill Now service where longblock engines are kept in stock and when not in stock you can save on the long lead time of producing one as units are already in the process of being built to replace missing stock. When not in stock expect a 2-4 week lead time (much shorter than the 6-8 weeks on ATO engines).

This engine is meant to replace Humvee HMMWV 6.5L Non-Turbo (Naturally Aspirated) in Humvee's that have the 4-Speed Overdrive Transmission 4L80E. See Part Number 6504070 for 6.2 or 6.5L non-turbo engine replacement for 3-speed 3L80 transmission Humvee's.

This long block engine is only available for sale to USA Civilian customers only, and cannot be sold to Government or related entities.

Engine features all metric fasteners, so if replacing a Pre-1999.5 model 6.5L Engine. Select the Metric Fastener Kit that matches your application, only available for purchase with a long block.

Warranty

These new long blocks carry no warranty. The manufacturer provides no warranty on these engines. Unique Diesel provides no warranty on these engines. Warranty coverage is not an option on these engines and is a term of the manufacturer. We are being up-front about the limitation which is more than can be said for other potential sources.
